Parking
permits are now available for juniors and seniors. Application forms may
be picked up in the main office or in E23, but may only be turned in to room
E23. Completed forms must be accompanied by copies of your driver’s
license and proof of insurance. The cost of the permit is twenty dollars.

Attention Students: The IHS Yearbook wants your photos. We
want every student represented in
the yearbook and we need your help!
See the flyers around school or our Yearbook Facebook page for more information
about the IHS yearbook photo contest. We are especially interested in photos
from this past summer. Submit pictures of you and your friends at work, at
play, traveling or right here at Ithaca HS. For each image that we can use in
the yearbook we will enter that photographers name in a raffle to win a prize.
First drawing is November 1st!
The following college rep will be visiting IHS today: Michigan State at 9
a.m. If you are interested in meeting with this representative, please go to
the College and Career Office for a pass.
If
you're interested in creating public works of art in your community come to
Urban Art Club in D001 this Thursday after school. Anyone is welcome.

and get your senior portraits in by OCTOBER 25th.

Faculty and Staff: Submissions for the IHS Word are now being accepted. Please
send your submissions to ithacahigh.word@gmail.com by Friday, October 4.
Attention student musicians! The Homecoming Committee is looking
for student musicians to perform at this year's brand new IHS Fall Fest on
Saturday, Oct. 19. You can perform with a band or a friend, or just go solo.
Either way, you'll be part of the Homecoming celebration. Just provide your own
amps and PAs if you are going to use them. Signups are in the main
office.
Poets and Poet wanna bes. Beat a path to Mr. Slattery’s room H-111
after school Thursday to discuss this year’s activities and plans! This year we
will be finding our “beat”! See you there! Thursday in H-111 after school.
Players, Players, Players. The first meeting of the Players will
be held Monday, October 30th in the band room at 3:45. New members
are welcome.
Badminton Club meets Thursdays after school in the big gym.
Equipment can be provided. Drop by if you are interested in badminton.
Would you like to learn
more about the human rights crisis in North Korea? Come to the first club
meeting this Thursday, after school in H214 to learn how to help bring back
"Liberty in North Korea." Everyone is welcome and snacks will be
provided!
