 Juniors and Seniors:  Remember reading The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass with the description of the plantation in chapter 2?   If you have any recollection of it, you are invited to vote for the most accurate and the most attractive drawing of the plantation described in that chapter.  Go to K building and ask for a ballot between classes from K-102.  Be sure to check out both bulletin boards.  Today is the last day to vote.
Are you the next Langston Hughes, the next Shirley Jackson, the next David Foster Wallace? How about VanGogh or Ansel Adams? Now’s your chance to be featured in the Tattler’s annual literary issue. Come see these stunning images and learn about the technology involved from Rick Kline from Cornell.  Join in the conversation tonight, 5:30-6:30pm in H Courtyard.

     How are images taken of Saturn, millions of miles away?  What can we learn from them about our solar system and our universe?  Come see these stunning images and learn about the technology involved from Rick Kline from Cornell.  Join in the conversation this Thursday, 5:30-6:30pm in H Courtyard.

Hey Hey Hey Link Leaders we have a meeting THURSDAY FIFTH period. Wear your shirts... SEA OF BLUE!!! See you there.

 

The sophomore class will be holding a bake sale today after school.  It will be held outside between Activities and the entrance doors to Bliss Gym and there will be lots of good things to eat for fifty cents or less!

 

Come to the Code Red Robotics LAN party this Friday and have a blast playing a variety of different games. Compete with a friend in our Black Ops II tournament or compete individually in our Super Smash Bros Melee tournament to win the grand prize of a $50 gift card to the mall. The event will be held in the IHS cafeteria from 5:30 to 9pm this Friday. Admission is $5, with an extra $5 dollars to enter one of the tournaments. Lastly, No backpacks will be allowed into the event, so plan accordingly.

 The Brain Team is hosting their fourth annual fall trivia night from 6 to 8:30 tonight in the cafeteria.  Bring a team of up to five people for a fun night of trivia, music, and prizes.  Tickets are $10 per person and include dinner!  See your local Brain Team member or Mr. Kirk in room G102 for tickets and details, or just show up at the cafeteria tonight.  For pizza!  For glory!  For trivia!!!!

There is a mandatory meeting today for all students attending the Harlem College Fair field trip this Saturday. Come to room D-5 today @3:40. You must attend if going on the trip.
