Day 1
Want a real
fright? Come and see Ithaca High School’s Drama Production Stage Fright
this Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Tickets are $8 and are on sale in
the cafeteria during lunch periods or at the door. Be forewarned: this
production is not for children or the faint of heart!
Snow is
coming and we want you to join Ski Club! The early season and program
pass prices are at the lowest all season. See Mr. Noyes in G-116 or Mr.
Breigle in E-16 for forms and to answer any questions. Prices go up November 17th.
Want to play hard and win
big? Sign up for the handball tournament this week during lunch periods in the
cafeteria for $20! Gather co-ed teams of 6 to 8 players and have a good time
and win prizes at the tournament, which will be held this Saturday from 1 to 4!
Picture Make up Day will be today in
the Activities Building, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. Please remember if
you didn't get your picture taken the first time, this is the time to do
it. If you want a re-take, please remember to bring your picture packet
back with you from the first time. Even if you don't want to order
pictures, please go over and get your picture taken so you can receive your
student ID card. Faculty can also get their pictures taken at this time.
The Tattler's monthly Writers' Meeting will be today after school in H-Courtyard. Join us
to discuss article ideas and sign up to write for the December Issue.
A representative from Cornell University’s
EOP/HEOP program will be at IHS on Thursday, November 3 at 12:45 in F-16 to
discuss the eligibility requirements for this program. If you would like to
find out if you might qualify for this program, please plan to attend. You can
get a pass from Ms. Sullivan in the main office the day of the event.
The following college rep will be visiting IHS
today: SUNY Cobleskill at 11:30. See Ms.
Sullivan in the College and Career Office for a pass.
The IHS Chem Club meets today after school in
Mr. Slattery’s room, H-111.
The Sexuality and Gender Alliance meets today
after school in G-201. There will be food.
Want to learn about careers through a volunteer
apprenticeship? A representative from The Learning Web will be in the cafeteria
today from 3rd to 6th period. Stop by and learn how you
can get involved.
Hey Class of 2018! Are you
interested in being involved in our class fundraisers and events? Do you want
your ideas to be heard and put into action? Come to the class officer open
meeting this Thursday, after school, in Ms. Erickson’s room K-107 and help
the officers with your creative ideas!!
