The Social Justice Week Planning Committee will be meeting today after school in Activities. Come if you are interested in getting involved! All are welcome.

The annual handball tournament is on Saturday, December 2nd. It is open to all I.H.S. students. Check your school e-mail for information on how to sign up! The cost is $25 per team of up to 8 players, and goes to supporting the senior class. Staff members are welcome also!

If you need help with a ride to any event, please let staff or Ms. Bergman know.

Ski Club is still accepting forms for students who are interested in learning to ski or snowboard and for those who love the sport. Please stop by G-116 to sign up.

All sophomores interested in taking the PSAT 10, please see Ms. Sullivan in the College and Career Center to register. There is a $16 fee to take the exam and you must register by Friday, December 15th. The exam will be given on Friday, April 20, 2018. Practice booklets will be given out once we receive them. This exam is for sophomores only.

Write for The Tattler's annual Literary Issue! The Tattler is accepting submissions of photos, creative writing, visual art, and original music until December 7th. Email submissions to editor@ihstattler.com. Prizes will be awarded to the best in each category!

Yearbooks are on sale for $65, price goes up in February so order today! Attention Seniors! Senior portraits and senior quotes are due December 6th. You can submit them online through the yearbook ordering website or by emailing them to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com. Again, senior portraits and quotes are due next Wednesday!

Attention all freshman! Yes YOU freshman!! Link Crew will be hosting their very first Cookie decorating day THIS Friday, December 1st! Come to Activities during 3rd-6th periods! All supplies will be provided!

Looking for something fun to do after school today? Code Red is hosting a video game LAN Party in the IHS Activities Building from 5-9pm. You will have a chance to play a wide variety of PC and console games during the event. There is a $5 entrance fee and we will be selling snacks so bring a few extra bucks to fuel up during the event. For 5 additional dollars you can sign up for the Smash Brothers tournament to play for IHS bragging rights and a mall gift-card for the winner. Backpacks and bags will not be allowed into the event, so please plan accordingly. See you there!

The weather is finally getting colder, which means it's time for the Brain Team's annual Fall Trivia Night! Come to the IHS cafeteria from 6 to 8 pm tonight for a fun night of trivia, food, music, and prizes for the winning team. Entry is only $10 per person, so come with a team of up to 5 people, or just come on your own.

 

Don’t forget to sign up for the Student Directed One Acts today 4:30 – 6:30 or Wednesday 6 – 8 in the Blackbox Theater. Sign-up on the drama board by the Blackbox Theater. If you plan on auditioning for 21 Chump Street, please prepare the required cuts. Contact Julia Machlin with any questions.

Don't miss the fall drama production "Fools!" the wacky comedy by Neil Simon. Performances are tonight and Saturday at 7:30 and Sunday at 2 pm. Tickets are available in the cafe during lunch periods and at the door. 
 
Ski club forms for the 2017-2018 season are in G-116!  Scholarships are available and the early registration deadline is today.  All members are eligible to be in the drawing for a free $50 gift card to Greek Peak.
 
The senior class is hosting a 5k run Sunday in Stewart Park from 10-12. All proceeds go to the hurricane victims in Puerto Rico. Email Ms .Erikson if you are interested!
