B Day



Seniors! Today is the LAST day for Prom tickets, and they’ll be sold until the end of 6th period only.



IHS Students, vote today during second period for the IHS play and musical next year! The Play choices are “What I Want to Say but Never Will” by Alan Haehnal OR “Twelve Angry Men” by Reginald Rose. The Musical choices are Fame! OR Disney's High School Musical.These show choices were narrowed down from 250 suggestions provided by students in the IHS vote last fall by the student show selection committee. Today, during periods 1-4, students from Ms. Craig's Spanish classes will be performing in the Black Box theater. Students will sing, dance, play musical instruments, and even recite favorite poetry pieces. If you are free any of those periods and wish to either participate or just watch, please join us to celebrate the year's end supporting one another's talents. All are welcome.



There are still Yearbooks available. If you would like a Yearbook e-mail Ms Reitenbach or stop by her office in Student Services.



All digital equipment is due back. It can be left with any art teacher or in the main office. Students that took Digital 1 may stop by to pick up their photos. Thank you for a fantastic year.



If you are interested in playing Volleyball in the Fall and were not able to attend the interest meeting on Thursday, please email Mrs. Powers OR stop in to J15.



Hello students. From now to the end of June we will be accepting applications for next year's Morocco trip. The trip is open to any students who will be juniors or seniors next year. Applications are available in the main office and also outside the math office in H216.  



Would you like to know more about the college experience from a panel of students currently attending college? IHS PTA is hosting a College Student Panel this coming Tuesday at noon in Kulp Lounge. They’ll share experiences, insights advice on choosing a college, adjusting to college life, roommates, workloads and more! Pizza and refreshments provided, starting at 11:45. This event is tailored for Juniors right after the US History Exam, but all Students, parents, caregivers, and staff are all welcome.



Lost keys, jewelry, or eyeglasses this year? Check out the boxes in the main office to see if it was found.



There will be a Varsity and JV Boys soccer meeting after school in the multi-purpose room Wednesday, June 19th. Anybody interested in trying out for either team this fall should attend the meeting.

Attention all 9th graders! Link Crew will be hosting their annual Cookies and Cram today after school! Come to the library to study for finals with help from Link Leaders and your friends. There will be lots of free snacks and cookies too!



There are still Yearbooks available. If you would like a Yearbook e-mail Ms Reitenbach or stop by her office in Student Services.



The Strength and Conditioning staff is holding an appreciation day that is open to the ENTIRE general student body and staff today at 4pm. Please meet promptly in the Strength and Conditioning room at 4. Please wear sneakers and athletic clothing. Hope to see you there! Sponsored by Ithaca Athletics.

Hello students.  Are you interested in traveling to a far off country, experiencing a different culture, making new friendships and eating delicious food?  From now to the end of June we will be accepting applications for next year's Morocco trip. The trip is open to any students who will be juniors or seniors next year. Applications are available in the main office and also outside the math office in H216.  



IHS Football will be holding its annual spring mini camp today, and then this Thursday and Friday. If you're interested in joining the football program, or have questions you should attend. The camp is free and will be located in Moresco Stadium. If you have any questions please see Coach Welch.

If you're interested in joining the football program, or have questions you should attend. The camp is free and will be located in Moresco Stadium. We will start check-in at 3:45 today. Attention 9th, 10th, and 11th graders! Elections for student leadership positions are TODAY during all lunch periods in the Cafeteria. Please make sure to check your email to read about all candidates before voting!



Yearbooks will be sold during all lunch periods today. After today, students will need to email Lyn Reitenbach to arrange a time to pick up their pre-ordered books or to purchase a book.

Attention Biology Students:  Have you successfully completed the NY State Lab requirement so you can sit for the Regents exam?  If not, come to extra help in H-104 today to work on late and incomplete labs before Friday's deadline.  Ask your Bio teacher for details.

The annual Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon is today from 10:00 till 2:00 pm in Activities.



Hey IHS! Guess what? We collected 32 units of blood at the blood drive yesterday! This wouldn't have done without your help and support! Apologies to those who wanted to donate, but were turned away. Try again in the fall! Rock those pop sockets!

The last IHS Blood Drive of the year is tomorrow! What better way to kick off summer than by donating some blood! Come sign up to donate in the cafeteria, library, or H- Courtyard. Yes, H-Courtyard, just for you seniors. Let's jiggy out some of that blood and donate it to a great cause! These donations will go to save the 4.5 million Americans that would die each year without lifesaving blood transfusions. James Harrison was a man in Australia who was able to save over 2 million babies by donating his rare blood! You must be 16 with a signed parent consent form, attainable at the sign up locations, or 17 and up. It only take 15 minutes to save a life! Let's get this blood IHS!!
