BOCES Career and Tech 10^th grade visitation day is Thursday, March 2^nd from 9:00 to 10:45. Any 10^th grade student interested in exploring their Career and Tech programs should see Ms. Sullivan in the Main Office to register and get your field trip permission form. All forms must be returned by February 15^th – there will be no exceptions.

 

Seniors: Jostens will be here today in H-Courtyard during all lunch periods to take your cap and gown orders.

 

Hey IHS! Key Club is hosting its annual carnation sale! Buy a carnation for a friend or lover for only $1. Or, you can buy a carnation and have it delivered for $2. Carnations will be sold in the cafeteria during all lunch periods until February 13th.

The IHS Music Production Club meets today after school in Lab 1 of the library.

The American Math Competition is today. It will be during 1st and 2nd periods.. Students who signed up should go to York for the AMC 10 and the cafeteria for the AMC 12. Just bring a pencil and your smart mind!

 

The Sexuality and Gender Alliance meets after school today in G-201. There will be food.

 

Math Club meets today in H-211. We do cool problems and participate in competitions. Food will be provided.

 

ChemClub meets today after school in Mr. Slattery’s room H-111.

All IHS students are welcome to Winter Formal! The dance is coming up on February 11th, from 7 to 10 pm at the Cornell Biotech building. Tickets will be on sale today in the cafeteria during lunch periods.  Prices are $20 regular, and $7 reduced.

Yearbook prices are rising from $65 to $75 after February 5th. Make sure to go to the yearbook's page on the icsd website to order your book soon.

 

Code Red Open House is on Saturday, from 1-4 p.m. This is a great event for anyone interested in science, tech, engineering and math, or anyone who wants to be inspired and learn more. There will be lots of interactive exhibits for younger kids! Come see virtual reality demos, make slime and shaving cream drawings, build towers to withstand simulated earthquakes, see robot demos, and much more! Park on the Lake Street side and sign in at the tech wing. We hope to see you on Saturday!
