Did you know homeless shelters most needed items are pads and tampons? Donate these products this week in the main office, library, or teacher’s classroom. The class that donates the most pads and tampons will win a prize!

Hello, Seniors! Please remember to turn in your Carol Buckley Scholarship for the Arts by April 8th and the Cayuga Medical Center Application for health careers by April 11th.  Each scholarship is valued at $2500.00.

Corning Community College will be visiting IHS today at 12:45 in H-Conference Room. Anyone interested in talking with this rep should see Ms. Sullivan in the main office to get a pass.

Onondaga Community College will be visiting IHS today from 9:00 to 10:30 in H-Conference Room. The representative will be accepting applications and making decisions on the spot. He will also be available to assist students with financial aid paperwork and answer your questions. If you’re interested in OCC, please see Ms. Sullivan in the main office to get your pass as well as your transcript to go with your application.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarship is now available for African-American or Latino/a graduating high school senior with a minimum GPA of a 3.0.  See Ms. Sullivan or go online for the application.  The deadline is April 15th.

The Tattler is looking for next year's editors! Pick up an application form in the main office or the library or look out for a digital form in your school email and submit it by April 4. Positions are open for every IHS student except seniors to apply, and even if you haven't written anything for the paper to this point, feel free to pick up an application and apply!

Wondering how you can participate in Social Justice?  Register to vote!  To fill out a registration form, come to H-Courtyard.  Just make sure you will be 18 by the election date and know your driver's license number or social security number.  You will be registered in time to vote in May's school board election.    If you have questions check with Mr. Lesser in H109.

 

Did you know homeless shelters say their #1 most requested products are pads and tampons? This year, Social Justice Week is sponsoring a drive to collect pads and tampons for women in need. Donate in the main office or ask your teachers if they are participating, because the class that donates the most wins a prize!

You may not have known that the plastic cups by the water jugs are recyclable. They are! So if you use a plastic cup, make sure to put it in a recycling bin when you’re done!

The British are coming! The British are coming! Actually, it's just the IHS Concert Choir, and they have an exciting concert tonight. Come see "British Invasion", an evening of choral music and comedy with lots of surprises. 7:30 pm, tonight - don't miss it!
