Seniors - the deadline for the NYS Seal of Biliteracy application is tomorrow.  Please make sure you hand applications in to the Student Services office.



Attention IHS! If you ordered Krispy Kreme donuts then the junior class will be handing them out today after school in Activities.



If you’re interested in trying out for the Boys Swim & Dive Team this winter season there will be a  brief pre-season meeting November 4th from 3:45-4:15 pm. in the Multi-Purpose Room.



For any students interested in trying out for JV or Varsity winter sports, you must be in good academic standing. Grades will be monitored and if a student has a 65 or below in two or more classes on November 8th, they will not be permitted to try out. If you need academic
support, please speak to your teachers or school counselor.



Do you love DONUTS? The Yearbook wants every student in the yearbook multiple times and we need your help, if you have a good photo of Ithaca High School students that is appropriate for the yearbook; please send it to us using the hjeshare app, the school code is ITHACA in all
caps. We also invite students and staff to follow us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook; look for the posters around school or on the Yearbook page of the ICSD website.  Students who submit a photo and follow us on Social media this week can come pick up your Krispy Kreme donut at dismissal on Halloween by the doors to the gym to claim your Krispy Kreme.

Today’s college visit in the Main Office is Ithaca College at 11:30. Please drop by the Main Office if you are interested!



This Saturday, three teams from the IHS Brain Team traveled to Delaware Valley High School in Pennsylvania to play in a quizbowl tournament. The A and B teams took first and second place
respectively, qualifying for national competitions in Atlanta and Chicago in the spring. Congratulations to Rohit Lal, Alice Lee-Kleinberg, Aidan Uckun, and Ramond Wang on the A team and Heewon Ahn, Louisa Miller-Out, Owen Mimno, and Annie Wang on the B team, and to everyone else who played for a great result!



There will be a meeting of the Spain Trip Club after school today in K18.  We will watch Coco in Spanish and have Day of the Dead-themed snacks.

Habitat for Humanity will be holding its first informational meeting today in E-11 after school. For more information about the club, club activities, or our build sites you should come to the invitational meeting, find Mr. Shyne in room F-41 during the school day, or contact Yann Sylvester, club president, via email.
