Day 1

 

 

Our Financial Aid Night presentation will be taking place Monday, October 23^rd from 6-7:30 p.m. in York Lecture Hall. Our presenter will be Mrs. Barbie Bargher, Assistant Director in the Office of Student Financial Services from Ithaca College. We hope that this evening will help you and your parents understand the financial aid process as you continue to plan for the costs of higher education.

 

For those interested in joining the Boys Swim Team, there will be an information meeting on Thursday at 3:40 in the pool bleachers.

 

Hey Seniors!!!! The senior class is hosting a concert on the quad featuring the Blindspots!! The concert will be on Friday October 20th at 6:00.  You can enter for free with your lanyard! If you don't have a lanyard yet, you can buy one from Mr. Mellander anytime, or at the door of the event.

 

Tonight is Senior Night for Girls Varsity Volleyball!

 

The IHS Dev Team meets after school today in Room H-211 with Mr. Deppe.

Attention students: Wegmans will be here today on behalf of the YES program. They will be available during all lunch periods in the cafeteria to discuss employment opportunities. Please stop by if you are interested.

 

Math Club will meet after school today in Room H-211 with Mr. Deppe. We have all sorts of fun math problems and competitions for all grades and levels. Food and drinks will be provided.

 

Come join Beauty of Color Club. We meet today in F-4 and food will be provided.

 

Interested to learn how the school yearbook is made? To learn how, come to Library Lab 1 after school today. Everyone is welcome.

Attention Juniors: Please stop by the main office to see Ms. Sullivan to sign up for the PSAT that will be given on Wednesday, October 11. There will be no charge to take the exam and you will receive a practice booklet and an informational sheet when you register. This exam is for Juniors only!

A college rep from Nazareth College will be visiting IHS today at 1:07. If you’d like to meet with this rep, please see Ms. Sullivan in the College and Career Office.
