Today
is a very special day in chemistry classes around the country, because it is
the day that we celebrate that famous chemistry concept know as THE MOLE! A mole is an ENORMOUS number,
specifically equal to 6.02 x 1023, which is why it is celebrated
from 6:02 am until 6:02 pm on the 23rd day of the 10th
month of the year! To celebrate this SUPREMELY IMPORTANT CONCEPT, a
dozen moles have been hidden around the school today- if you find one, follow the
directions on it to claim your prize! Happy Mole Day!
