Day 3
Social Justice Week is tomorrow through Friday. There will be presentations 1st through 8th period on
topics such as the environment, LGTBQ issues, and human rights. This is a
student-run event, and the planning committee encourages their peers to attend
presentations during their free periods. Be on the lookout for schedules in the
halls and your classrooms. Teachers must sign-up via email to secure a spot at
presentations for their classes.
There will be a bake sale in front of Activities
after school today. Come by and purchase a tasty cupcake or some cookies to
support the French trip to Paris.
Attention Yearbook
members: The 2017 yearbook is in the most critical phase of development. PLEASE
ATTEND MEETINGS each Tuesday before school in Library Lab 1 or afterschool in
the Library. If you cannot make the meeting please contact Ms Reitenbach or Chloe
Wray to see how you can help get us to our final deadline.

photographs or videos you would like in the yearbook please send then to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com right away!
The National French Contest Exam is being given
this Wednesday in K Building – the snow day will be Thursday, March 16.
Students have been given instructions by Mme Bowman. A list of students taking
this exam has been e-mailed to all staff. No announcements will be made between
periods 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8.
The National Honor Society is hosting a book
drive for the Family Reading Partnership from now until March 27! Drop any
gently used children’s books into the red crates located around the school to
support childhood literacy in the local community.
