A Day



The first Unified Sports home game is today at 4:30 in Bliss Gym. The theme is Hawaiian so find your best Hawaiian shirt and grass skirt and head to the gym tomorrow! There will be a DJ, halftime show presented by our girls lacrosse team, and a great game between Ithaca and Lansing!



The Tattler will be having its June issue writers’ meeting today after school in H-courtyard. If you've been wanting to write all year, or if you're interested in writing next year, this is your chance! Join to discuss article ideas with our new board and sign up to write. There will be food!



There will be a meeting for A-Phi Friday's tomorrow in H Conference Room, 4th and 5th period.



Don't forget the chicken BBQ tomorrow after school! The senior class will be selling meals for $10 from 4:00 until they run out. Come support the senior class and our athletes tomorrow!



CONGRATS to all participants in the Poetry Slam!  The judges struggled to choose recipients for this year's prizes from amongst so many fantastic and impressive performers. Nevertheless…

Congratulations to the eleven students who are the first in the Ithaca City School District to earn the New York State Seal of Biliteracy!  This year's recipients are: Cora Easton, Taerim Eom, Gabriela Higashi, Andrew Kim, Magda Kossowska, Anna Loyko, Julian Perry, Nicole Pikulik, Felix Shi, Margot Stern and Priscilla Ziefle.  These seniors demonstrated their proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing in two or more languages, including German, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Ukrainian, in addition to English.  If you are a junior and interested in applying for the Seal of Biliteracy, pick up a statement of intent outside Ms. Ufford's office K104A.



Our Spring National Letter of Intent signing ceremony will be May 23rd at 6 PM in the Black Box Theater.  If you are planning to attend a Division, 1, 2, 3, or Junior College to play a sport, please sign up on the sheet outside of G207 or the Athletics Office.  Please see Ms. Valletta or Ms. Little if you have any questions.
