A Day
Attention
all students! We will in fact have school on Monday, Oct 7th. There was
a misprint in your student agenda. We do have school on Monday, Oct 7th.
Attention
Juniors and Seniors! The
firm deadline for turning in the forms to the College and Career Office for the
TC-3 College Fair is today at 3:45 p.m. Permission forms will not
be accepted after today.
Are you interested in how the Chromebooks work or in virtual
reality? Do you need some community service hours? If so please come to
Chromebook Club’s first meeting today after school in the Library. There will be refreshments.
Athletic
Study Hall will be today from 3:45-4:45 PM in York Lecture Hall.
The
HOMECOMING Chicken BBQ is back! Come enjoy a great chicken dinner, 4:30-6:30
tomorrow before the game. Dinners are $10. It is also Senior Night so
please come support your senior cheerleaders and football players in their
final home game!
Join
Glamour Gals, a club that helps provide companionship to seniors living in
nursing homes. Glamour Gals is open to all who support our mission. Our
first meeting is NEXT Thursday right after school in room G207. Please note
that this is a date change. Contact Maddie Hall, Maggie Trumble, or Cam Lemberg
for more information.
If
you did not pick up your student ID/picture on Monday, please go to your AP's
office. 9th & 10th graders to Mr. Corey's in G211 and 11th & 12th
graders to Ms. Hardesty's in G109A.
Want
to be a part of the Junior Class Fundraising Committee? Come to room H202 next
Wednesday, October 8th, at 8:30. We will be planning our Krispy Kreme
fundraiser. All are welcome.
Are
you interested in joining IHS TSA? Come to our first informational meeting on
Thursday October 10th, in room E4 from 3:45-4:30! We would love to
see new faces! See Mr. Sauve or Mr. Sevilla if you have any questions!
Anyone
up for a weekly math brain teaser? Stop by and check out the Math
Challenge of the Week on the bulletin board outside of H-201. Submit your
answer in the box by each Friday and get your name on the Wall of Fame if you
get it correct. Each month, a prize winner will be chosen from all weekly
Wall of Famers for that month. Hope to
see you outside of H-201 soon!
If
you are applying to college - please consider attending Financial Aid Night on
October 10th 6pm to 7:30pm for information tips and tricks about the financial
aid process. You can start filling out the FAFSA application starting October
1st. Come to Kulp Auditorium on October 10th at 6pm to have your questions
answered by a local financial aid representative.
Off-season
wrestling will be Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 PM in the wrestling room for
anyone interested.
This
is a reminder that if you are interested in signing up for a Winter Sport, you
must do so online through Family
ID. Registration will open up October 11 and the season will start on November
12. The Family ID link will be located on the Athletic section of the Ithaca
city school district website.
The Yearbook is looking for
students who would like to help create the 2020 Annual. We meet on Tuesdays but
students do not have to be available for meeting times to help. Most of the
work can be done on your time. Tasks are delegated electronically and you can
work remotely!
