Attention ALL students: interested in running for Student Council officer, Representative to the Board of Education, or class officer for the 2014-2015 school year? You MUST attend a MANDATORY elections meeting on Tuesday, May 13th at 3:45 in H-Courtyard. If you are not at the meeting, you will not be on the ballot during elections. See Mr. Mellander in Activities if you have any questions.

Were you born after May 1^st 1996 and plan on driving a boat, or personal watercraft in NY waters?  Well if you are you will need a NYS boater’s safety course certificate.  Mr. Cowell will be offering the course after school starting May 13^th.  Please see him for more information in room E-1.

Seniors: Jostens will be in H-Courtyard today to deliver caps and gowns during all lunch periods.

There will be no morning announcements read this week from WIHS due to AP exams.

Youth Employment Service is accepting applications for summer jobs. If you are interested in working this summer, stop by the YES table in the cafeteria during lunch periods to speak with a YES staff member.

Congratulations to Lucynda Statema and Casper Molina who rocked the Ithaca literary scene yesterday. The two read original poetry as part of the SpringWrites Cayuga Vocal Ensemble concert. Their work stood out in a program filled with poetry and music. Many thanks to them for their work and participation.

Do you like the school bathrooms? Do you like using them? No? Well, what if we could change how the bathrooms are? Guess what! We can, but we need your help! There will be petitions to sign in your history class. So look out for them. Let’s make a change.
