Day 2
Attention ALL students: interested in running for Student Council
officer, Representative to the Board of Education, or class officer for the
2014-2015 school year? You MUST attend a MANDATORY elections meeting on
Tuesday, May 13th at 3:45 in H-Courtyard. If you are not at the meeting, you
will not be on the ballot during elections. See Mr. Mellander in Activities if
you have any questions.
Seniors! If you are approved for the senior trip, come sign up for a
hotel room in Mr. Mellander’s office in Activities. The deadline to sign up is
Tuesday, May 6th. Don’t miss out! You’ll be assigned to a room if
you don’t sign up!
Were you born after May 1st 1996 and plan on driving a boat,
or personal watercraft in NY waters? Well if you are you will need a NYS
boater’s safety course certificate. Mr. Cowell will be offering the
course after school starting May 13th. Please see him for more
information in room E-1.
Seniors: Jostens will be in H-Courtyard this Thursday, May 8, to
deliver caps and gowns during all lunch periods.
There will be no morning announcements read this week from WIHS due to
AP exams.
Congratulations to
Lucynda Statema and Casper Molina who rocked the Ithaca literary scene
yesterday. The two read original poetry as part of the SpringWrites Cayuga
Vocal Ensemble concert. Their work stood out in a program filled with poetry
and music. Many thanks to them for their work and participation.
