Michael Kuhn, a first year PhD mechanical engineering student at Cornell, will be speaking today at Undivided's meeting after school in K-102.  Come for refreshments and fellowship.  All are welcome.

 

Attention Fractals & Chaos alumni! The spring fractal art show will have its opening during 5th period tomorrow. If you're free then, come by room G-102 for some snacks and to vote on your favorite designs. If you can't make it, stop by G-102 some other time to pick up a ballot and cast your vote!

 

The National Honor Society is hosting a book drive for the Family Reading Partnership from now until March 27! Drop any gently used children’s books into the red crates located around the school to support childhood literacy in the local community.

 

The National French Contest Exam is being given this Wednesday in K Building – the snow day will be Thursday, March 23. Students have been given instructions by Mme Bowman. A list of students taking this exam has been e-mailed to all staff. No announcements will be made between periods 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

 

 

 

Remember this is Social Justice Week! Classes are encouraged to attend today and support the event, the planning committee, and the presenters that have been invited in to speak.

 

 

The National Honor Society is hosting a book drive for the Family Reading Partnership from now until March 27th! Drop any gently used children’s books into the red crates located around the school to support childhood literacy in the local community.

The Link Leader meeting for 1st period today has been cancelled.
 
Despite the snow days and delay, there will still be Social Justice Week presentations today all periods except 3rd, 7th and 1st. Classes are encouraged to attend today on a walk-in basis, and support the event, the planning committee, and the presenters that have been invited in to speak.

This is a student-run event, and the planning committee encourages their peers to attend presentations during their free periods. Be on the lookout for schedules in the halls and your classrooms. Teachers must sign-up via email to secure a spot at presentations for their classes.

There will be a bake sale in front of Activities after school today. Come by and purchase a tasty cupcake or some cookies to support the French trip to Paris.
 
Attention Yearbook members: The 2017 yearbook is in the most critical phase of development. PLEASE ATTEND MEETINGS each Tuesday before school in Library Lab 1 or afterschool in the Library. If you cannot make the meeting please contact Ms Reitenbach or Chloe Wray to see how you can help get us to our final deadline.

Come walk the 'red carpet' at the 2017 cabaret night, tonight and Saturday, at 7 pm in the cafeteria. Tickets are on sale today during lunch periods. Don't miss out on this year’s production.

 

The senior award applications are due March 17th and are available in the College and Career Center. 

 

SWIS is hosting a tampon drive during the month of March. Please bring in feminine hygiene products to the marked boxes in classrooms!
