A Day



Key Club’s Coloring book and Crayola Crayon Drive will continue up until today. Donations can be dropped off at the designated box in the main office and they will be sent to the kids at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. To make sure the kids are safe and healthy, the hospital asks that all donations be new, and that crayons be of the Crayola brand. Brighten a child’s day by contributing to the Coloring book and Crayola Crayon drive. 





There will be a mandatory meeting for all Unified Bowlers in room G-112 after school on Monday, January 6. This is the Monday right after break. Please arrive on time!

B Day



Our ski club meeting is today at 3:45 pm in York.  Please make sure you are on time.  If you plan on joining the IHS ski club, we only have six seats left. There will be no holding seats - all forms and money must be turned in to have a spot on the bus. Thank You!

Link Leaders, we have a meeting today during fourth period, and don't forget to bring at least 3 items for the Food Drive.

This afternoon, a guest speaker from Cornell's Kroch Asia Library will be coming to Japanese Language & Culture Club! He'll be presenting on both Japanese historical prints and pop culture and bringing in exclusive artifacts! Come to H201 after school to check it out. All are welcome to come and listen!

Attention all 9th graders! Link Crew will be hosting their annual Cookie decorating day on Wednesday, December 18th! Come to Activities during 3rd-6th period! All supplies will be provided!

Every year the Yearbook features lots of pictures of students in class, hanging out, in clubs, sports, arts etc....This year we are giving you the chance to submit photos that you like for use in the IHS Annual. SENIORS - how about those sibling photos, photos of you at work, photos on the weekend and the every popular "Then and Now?"  E-mail them to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com by midnight tonight and you can pick up a free Krispy Kreme donut at dismissal Wednesday in the gym foyer.

What's up IHS? Do you have old shoes that you no longer wear? Donate them to the junior class. You can place them in boxes in classrooms around the school. All shoes will go to those in need. Thank you in advance for helping us!

There are only 7 spots open for ski club.  If you plan on joining please act quickly.  No spots will be reserved; this is a first come first serve basis. Stay tuned for the meeting location on December 19th at 3:45 pm.

The annual SWIS Tampon Drive has been extended through December. Bring in unopened packages of pads and tampons and drop them off in your teacher's rooms. Donations will go to people in need!



Attention students taking AP Exams in May: AP Bulletins to help you prepare for the exams are online, but a limited number of hard copies are now available to be picked up in the College and Career Office.

Don't miss the student directed one act plays this weekend! Performances are today at 4:30 and again at 7, and Saturday at 7, all in the Black Box Theater. A $5 donation is requested, but pay what you can!

Today during lunch periods the Chromebook club will be demonstrating the library of things. The library of Things is a program from BOCES that lets people borrow stem related gadgets. Come take a look and have a blast while expanding you STEM knowledge. In the library during all lunch periods.

Attention anyone who is interested in ski club - the bus seats are filling up very fast!  If you are interested, you must get your forms in asap. Additionally, there will be a mandatory ski club meeting on December 19th - plan accordingly. The location will be announced soon. 

The IHS Tattler is accepting submissions for the annual literary issue. There are five categories for submissions: Poetry, Short Fiction, Photography, Visual Art, and Music. The best entries will win prizes! Email your work to editor@ihstattler.com by December 12 to be eligible.
