A Day

What's up IHS? Do you have old shoes that you no longer wear? Donate them to the junior class. You can place them in boxes in classrooms around the school. All shoes will go to those in need. Thank you in advance for helping us!

Hey IHS, come to G208 after school today to hear Zachary Shulman, managing partner of Cayuga Venture Fund, speak about venture capital and investing. If you have any questions regarding the event you can ask Yann Sylvester or Liam Cooper. We look forward to seeing you there.

Don't miss the student directed one act plays this weekend! Performances are tomorrow at 4:30 and again at 7, and Saturday at 7, all in the Black Box Theater. A $5 donation is requested, but pay what you can!

Key Club is currently hosting a Coloring book and Crayola Crayon Drive that will continue up until December 20th. Donations can be dropped off at the designated box in the main office and they will be sent to the kids at Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital. To make sure the kids are safe and healthy, the hospital asks that all donations be new, and that crayons be of the Crayola brand. Brighten a child’s day by contributing to the Coloring book and Crayola Crayon drive.

Attention anyone who is interested in ski club - the bus seats are filling up very fast!  If you are interested, you must get your forms in asap. Additionally, there will be a mandatory ski club meeting on December 19th - plan accordingly. The location will be announced soon.

The IHS Tattler is accepting submissions for the annual literary issue. There are five categories for submissions: Poetry, Short Fiction, Photography, Visual Art, and Music. The best entries will win prizes! Email your work to editor@ihstattler.com by December 12 to be eligible.

On Friday December 13 the Chromebook club will be demonstrating the library of things. The library of Things is a program from BOCES that lets people borrow stem related gadgets. Come take a look and have a blast while expanding you STEM knowledge. In the library during all lunch periods.

The annual SWIS Tampon Drive has been extended through December. Bring in unopened packages of pads and tampons and drop them off in your teacher's rooms. Donations will go to people in need!

Attention students taking AP Exams in May: AP Bulletins to help you prepare for the exams are online, but a limited number of hard copies are now available to be picked up in the College and Career Office.

And Seniors, don’t forget to turn in your Krispy Kreme money today or tomorrow, and also make sure to come to Bowling Night tomorrow!
