Juniors! Do you want to learn about how to get into college? Come to “Getting Into College Night” on Wednesday, April 22 at 6 p.m. in York Lecture Hall. Presenters will include admissions counselors from Cornell, Ithaca College and SUNY Binghamton.

The Ithaca High School Brain Team, IHS’s nationally-ranked Academic Quizbowl team, is holding their annual spring trivia night fundraiser from 6:00 to 8:30 on Thursday, April 23rd in the IHS cafeteria.  Bring a team of up to 5 people, or come by yourself and meet some new friendly folks.  Tickets are $10 and include dinner, music, and fun trivia.  Funds that are raised will help the Brain Team go to national tournaments in Chicago and Washington, DC.  Email Benjamin Kirk at bkirk@icsd.k12.ny.us for details, or just show up on the 18th.

Applications for next year’s Tattler editor positions are due April 27.

Hey Students and Staff!  The first annual IHS Dodge Ball Tournament will be taking place in Bliss Gym on Saturday, April 25th, at 1 pm.  Four-player teams will compete in round-robin match-ups followed by the finals.  There will be prizes for the winning team and the team with the best costumes.  The entry fee is $20 per team and sign-ups will be in the cafeteria all next week during lunch periods.  So come be a part of the fun!

Attention Latino and African American students – the Alpha Kappa Alpha Award application is now available in the college and career center.  Please stop by to see Brenda Sullivan, in the college and career center, for your copy.  The due date is April 30th.
