B Day

Ben Ortiz aka DJ ha-MEEN curator of the Cornell Hip Hop Archives, will provide an anatomy of the turntable and mixer and show students how to DJ on vinyl TODAY, February 6 during 7th and 8th periods in Kulp Auditorium. He will discuss the history and legacy of black artists who originated the art form and then let students practice their skills! Records will be provided.  Don't miss this exciting event! Students with study or free periods may attend.  Teachers, sign up your class!

Hey IHS! Key Club is selling carnations starting today in the cafeteria during lunch periods for $1 pickup or $2 delivery! Support Key Club and send a sweet message to any of your friends or people you care about! The carnations will be available on Valentine’s Day!

Seniors, please see Mrs. Blake with a copy of your grades for second-semester senior privileges. 

There will be a JV and Varsity Softball Interest meeting at 3:45 tomorrow in Room H-112. Anyone interested or planning on playing softball this year should attend the meeting. 

Don't forget to get your tickets for Winter Formal, happening this Saturday at the Statler Hotel Terrace at 7 pm! Winter Formal is not only the biggest dance of the year, but it also has a very upscale flair, with high-end catering and photography, DJ, and atmosphere. This is THE dance to go to for anyone at IHS. Especially given the weather forecast for tomorrow, make sure to buy your tickets TODAY during lunch periods in the Cafeteria. Tickets are $25, or $12 for free or reduced lunch. See you there!
