B Day
Auditions for the Fall Drama,
Twelve Angry Men, will be today from 6 to 9pm and Thursday from 4 to 7 pm.
Attend one audition only. No preparation necessary. Casting will be non-
traditional and all who wish to participate in the production will be able to do
so. Please contact Ms. Tino for more information.
A representative from SUNY
Binghamton will be in the Main Office today at 1 pm to meet with prospective
students.
Are you interested in
biology? Do you want to do fun research and enter in internationally recognized
competitions? Come to Ms. Jewett's room in H114 tomorrow after school to learn
more about how you can be a part of something great!
Hey Hey Hey Link Leaders! We
will be having our first meeting after school in Activities tomorrow!
Learn how scientists solve
problems, analyze data, and draw graphics with the Scientific Computing club,
Thursdays in Ms. Lynn's room E25. No prior coding experience necessary.
Want
to learn investment research and strategy? Interested in learning about the
stock market and trading? Join IHS Finance & Entrepreneurship Club. We meet
tomorrow in Room G208 after school and Ms. Kautz is the advisor. Everyone is
welcome no matter your level of experience or financial literacy.
Hey captains! Tomorrow will
be our first Captains Council meeting of the year. Captains from last winter or
spring, and captains from this fall will be expected to be there. If you are a
captain and are not able to make it, please send someone else from your team.
There will be food.
Did you know 61% of
student-athletes reported consistent struggles with time management? Athletic
Study Halls begin this week and are Monday and Wednesday from 8-845 AM in room
K105 and Tuesday and Thursday from 345-445 PM in York Lecture Hall. All fall athletes
are welcome to attend. The first grade check for fall athletes is today.
Student-athletes are reminded to check their email for more information. Please
see Ms. Valletta if you have any questions.
The
Rotary Club of Ithaca is accepting applications through 9/28/19, for the
2020-21 Rotary Youth Exchange Scholarship Program. Students currently in
grades 9, 10, and 11 who are interested in the opportunity to spend the 2020-21
school year overseas in the highly regarded Rotary exchange program should see
Mrs. Miettunen in K18 for more information and an application. Applications are
due September 28.
Want
to learn how to build houses while volunteering for community service hours?
Join Habitat for Humanity Club. We go around to local build sites in Tompkins
County and help make home ownership experience possible for dedicated members
of our community by helping them build their own homes. Hands on experience,
volunteer hours, making an impact, why not join? Contact Mr. Shyne or Yann
Sylvester for details regarding the build sites and build dates.
Greetings Staff! In case you
were wondering, our wellness center/weight room is open to staff 4-6 pm Monday-
Thursday. If there are times during the day you want to get into the weight
room, please stop by Q115A, and we will hook you up! ICSD Staff...Striving to
