A Day

Are you interested in virtual reality? Do you like games? Do you have no idea what virtual reality even is? Come to VR Day in the library TODAY during lunch periods. Hosted by the Chromebook Club.

If you are interested in trying out for Varsity Baseball this spring please come meet and talk with the coach and other interested players today at 3:40 pm outside of the Multipurpose Room.

Seniors! Make sure to hand in your Krispy Kreme order forms to Ms. Powers this morning! Delivery will be this Friday and pick-up will be after school in Ms. Campbell’s room.

Roses are red, violets are blue, we have carnations and you can too! Buy carnations for one dollar in the cafeteria during lunch periods today and tomorrow to let those special people know you care!

Drums@Lunch will be offered tomorrow during 5th & 6th period in room F34. Students may join the sessions during their lunch or free period. Contact Fee Nunn or Daphne Shululu for more information.

Attention Students! Strength and agility testing for all in-season athletes finished with winter sports and all off-season athletes will be held today at 4 pm in the Strength & Conditioning Room. Additionally, any students who wish to use the Strength and Conditioning Room are required to take an orientation.  Orientations are offered Mondays & Wednesdays from 4 p.m to 5 p.m.

For those interested in trying out for the Boy's Varsity Tennis Team there will be an after school meeting tomorrow, from 4 to 4:30 in the IHS Activities Room with Head Coach Michael Bryant.

Attention Seniors: Please submit your "Now and Then" photos of you and your friends now and a number of years ago. Sibling photos are also needed. Please send to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com ASAP! We need to build these pages over the February break and would love you to be on them!

Don't have time for orchestra in your schedule but still want to play your instrument? Come to orchestra room tomorrow after school to find the new club 'alternative orchestra'! We're starting with Beatles and Panic at the Disco. Bring your string instrument. There will be snacks.

Attention students and staff! GIAC is holding the Black History Month Talent Show here at IHS on Friday, February 15th. The show is free to attend and will feature a variety of performances from our own African-Latino Club and many community members. The show runs from 6 to 8 pm in Kulp Auditorium.

Would you like to have a say in what shows are produced at IHS? To further student voice, we are forming a committee of students to select the plays and musicals at IHS for next year.  The committee selections will be voted on by the entire student body. Would you like to serve on the show selection committee? Find out how to serve by contacting Ms. Tino or Daphne Shululu. Or, keep your eye out for tabling information in the IHS cafeteria this week. This opportunity is open to all students!

JV & Varsity spring sports begin March 4th. Sign up through Family ID if you’re interested in participating.
