The 40th annual
IHS Craft Fair is happening RIGHT NOW! Students and staff are invited to drop
by Activities from 9 to 2 for gift items, food, music, and the chance to relax
with friends. Hope to see you there!

Hey seniors!
Bowling Night is TONIGHT at 7pm at Bowl-O-Drome. Come and get two games, shoes,
and pizza with the purchase of a senior lanyard. And the Black Light Dance is
tomorrow evening from 6 to 7:30. Each event requires a senior lanyard, which
can be purchased from Mrs. Powers in Mr. Trumble’s office.

Calling all students: Does history matter in
our community? What stories matter to you? What stories have been hidden away,
forgotten, or are not being told? Join The History Center for an afternoon of
conversation and fun activities to explore how we can make these stories
visible! This youth event will take place TODAY from 5 to 6:30 pm at The
History Center in downtown Ithaca. It's free and there will be food. For more
information, see Mr. Innes.



The PSAT-10 exam
will be given to all interested sophomore students Friday, March 1st.
 Today is the final day to register! See Mr. Barnes in College and Career to sign up.

9th graders! Link Crew will be hosting their annual Cookie decorating day on
Wednesday, December 19th! Come to Activities during 3rd-6th period! All
supplies will be provided!

Ski Club Members, there is a mandatory meeting TODAY at 3:35 pm in G116.  

Hey seniors! Bowling Night has been rescheduled for TOMORROW at 7pm at Bowl-O-Drome. Come and get two games, shoes, and pizza with the purchase of a senior lanyard. And don’t forget about the Black Light Dance on Saturday evening. Each event requires a senior lanyard, which can be purchased from Mrs. Powers in Mr. Trumble’s office.

Calling all students: Does history matter in our community? What stories matter to you? What stories have been hidden away, forgotten, or are not being told? Join The History Center for an afternoon of conversation and fun activities to explore how we can make these stories visible! Have you watched an episode of Lake Street News in your email? Interested in how it is made? TV Production club is always accepting new members or people that would just like to pop in and see the movie magic. TV Production club meets today after school in F-41. See you there!

Japanese Culture Club meets today in G-209. Anyone is welcome! We will be discussing the culture, language, and history of Japan, watching Japanese movies and discussing Japanese media and customs.

The Chromebook club will be meeting TODAY after school in the library. We will be moving forward with a new project and there will be refreshments.

The IHS Food Drive is underway. Please bring in nonperishable food items to your classes or drop off in the main office, your donation has a direct impact on the IHS community.

The student directed one acts are this weekend! Directors Sankofa McLaurin,  Lynne Walker, Leah Slattery, and Jasper Fearon have put together a group of shows that you do not want to miss.  Performance are Friday 12/7 at 4:30 and 7:30 and Saturday 12/8 at 7:30 in the Black Box Theater.  A $5 donation is suggested, but pay what you can.  We want you there!

Write for the Tattler’s annual literary issue! The Tattler is accepting poetry, photography, short fiction and graphic art submissions. The best works in each category will receive prizes! Send submissions to editor@ihstattler.com by midnight TONIGHT to have your work featured in the issue.
Attention IHS students. You’re encouraged to attend the 2018 Equity Report Roll-out TODAY at 3:45 in the Cafeteria. The Equity Report Card monitors district progress towards achieving equity in twelve key areas of student achievement and engagement. This is an opportunity for you to be heard! Refreshments will be provided.
