If you have not picked up your yearbook, please do so immediately. Do you have ideas about making next year’s book the best ever? If you would like to be part of creating next year’s book, please stop by the Hub and talk to the Advisor.

Have any old school supplies you don’t need anymore? Pencils and pens weighing you down? Donate them for Green Team’s annual school supplies reuse program, Chuck Yo Junk. Boxes located in the cafeteria, H-Courtyard, the main office and the library. All gently used school supplies accepted. School supplies will be available for anyone to take next fall.

If you have lost any earrings, necklaces, watches, glasses or other small item, please check the lost and found in the office.

If you have lost your shoes, shirt, pants, sweatshirt or other large item, please check the lost and found in the Activities Building.

Are you interested in learning more about the college admissions process? A fun and interactive mock college admissions activity will be happening today periods 3-6 in Room F-16 in the Library. All students are welcome to participate!

 

If you pre-ordered a yearbook it must be picked up in the HUB (D13A) this week. 

If you would like to purchase a yearbook you can bring $75 to the HUB or in the cafeteria during lunch periods.

The library will be open this weekend – Saturday morning 9 to 1 p.m. and Sunday afternoon 12 to 4 p.m. Come finish up your work!

Social Justice Week is this week. Ask your teachers if they can take your class to a guest presentation today, and get ready to get involved in community and global issues such as poverty, sexism, and the AIDS epidemic.

 

Hey Freshmen! Feeling stressed out about end of the year exams and portfolios? Come to Cookies and Cram on today from 3:45-6 in the cafeteria and library. Your Link Leaders will be there to help you out with studying and share some delicious baked goods with you. See you there!

 

Students expecting to take AP Lit, AP Lang, or English 101 next year will meet IMMEDIATELY after school today to pick up summer work. AP Lang and Lit will meet in F-5. English 101 will meet in K-102.

Students expecting to take Writing Your Family History next year should see Mrs. Kennedy in K-102 regarding materials they could collect over the summer to make the course less hectic for themselves.

Attention all students taking AP US next year. If you did not attend Tuesday’s meeting, you must attend the meeting today after school or Tuesday next week. Meetings are in G-216.

Come purchase your Senior Prom tickets today for $35. Please make sure to have your dance contracts already filled out upon purchasing a ticket. Also, sign ups for boat tours during senior prom begin today and the sign-up sheets will be in the cafeteria. It is first come, first serve so please sign up as soon as you know!

Freshmen! Do you want to commemorate the challenges that you bravely faced this year? Well, there’s no better way to do that than getting your own student-designed Class of 2017 t-shirt. Developed by our fashionista Sandra Stromswold, this trendy shirt can be purchased during lunch, or by contacting any of your class officers: James Yoon, Mrinal  Thomas, Ruth Silcoff or Emma Karnes.
