Girls! Looking for something fun to do this summer? Always wanted to learn more about playing softball? Come out and register for our Girls Competitive fast-pitch softball club. Little Red Softball Club runs from May until the beginning of August. All girls are invited to register – even if you’ve never played before. Registration forms can be picked up in the main office. Registration runs until May 15. More information can be found at littleredsoftball@gmail.com.
 
The National Honor Society is hosting a pancake breakfast at Applebee's on Saturday, April 29th, from 8:00 to 10:00! Tickets are $8 for pancakes and bacon. All proceeds will go to Ithaca Welcomes Refugees, so find an NHS member to buy a ticket! We hope to see you there.
 
This Saturday, The Boys Ithaca Lacrosse Team will be hosting a Chicken barbeque from 11-4 here at the high school. There will also be a raffle, bake sale, and fastest shot competition. Please consider coming down and supporting the team!

All students going on the trip to Paris should meet at Lake Street parking lot next to the administration and K building at 6:45 AM sharp on Saturday, April 15.  Remember, 6:45 AM on Saturday, April 15, Lake Street parking of Ithaca High School.  

 

Code Red is hosting a Red Cross Blood Drive today in Activities. If you signed up, please make sure to go to Activities at your scheduled time. If you didn't sign up but want to donate, there may be available space for walk-ins, so feel free to stop by.

Music, dance, laughs, and the age-old tale of Boy Meets Girl – no musical puts it on stage better than ANYTHING GOES, and it's coming to the Ithaca High School this weekend! Show times for ANYTHING GOES are Friday and Saturday, April 7th and 8th at 7:30 pm and Sunday, April 9th at 2:00 pm. Tickets will be sold during lunch periods this week - $12 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. 

Come see ANYTHING GOES, and your weekend will surely be delightful, delicious, and de-lovely!

Interested African-American, Latino, or Latina seniors with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or above should apply for The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority scholarship in the college and career center. The deadline is tomorrow.

This meeting is mandatory if you want your name on the ballot for our spring elections. The open positions are Student Representatives to the Board of Education, Student Council officers, and class officers for classes of 2020, 2019, and 2018. 
 
A college rep from SUNY Brockport will be here today at 9:00. Anyone interested in meeting with this rep should see Ms. Sullivan in the College and Career Office.

Sign up for the annual IHS Poetry Slam! This event will be held after school on April 10th in the Black Box Theater. Prizes will be awarded for the best poems and performances. Sign up in the high school library OR in Ms. Campbell's room (F5).
 
Attention seniors: The yearbook will have copies of senior portrait pages for you to check and correct if needed. These pages will be in H courtyard and the library from today until Friday, so make sure to look at your name and portrait picture!
