Day 4

Artists of IHS, the Tattler is creating a literary issue. This issue will be comprised entirely of creative writing and visual art, so submit your poetry, short story, photography and photos of your art work. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, December 11th and all submissions should be emailed to editor@ihstattler.com.
The IHS Brain Team is hosting its Trivia Night on Thursday, December 19th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in the IHS cafeteria. Bring a team of up to 5 people or come individually for a fun night of pizza, prizes, and trivia. Admission is $10.00 and dinner is included. See Mr. Kirk in G-102 for details and tickets. Hope to see you there!

Juniors! This year’s class shirt is now available to be ordered! Check out the unique design on the posters around the school. They are available for pre-order only, so order yours in the main office by Wednesday, December 11th. Class of Twenty Fifteen, get a $15 shirt. Pay with cash or checks. Remember… the deadline is the 11th.
The Student-Directed One-Acts are tonight and Friday! “My Beautiful Soldier” directed by Olivia Salomon and “Crushed” directed by April Carroll. Performances are tonight and Friday at 7:30 with an additional performance afterschool Friday, at 4:30. Come and support IHS Student Theater!

Can you ball all day long? Then come on down to the 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament with a three point shootout on Saturday December 7th at 2:30pm in the new and old IHS Gym---please arrive at the old gym!  Just get a three person team (4th person alternate is acceptable) and it is $5 a person! Also make a team name and wear matching uniforms. It is $2 for the 3 point shootout!  Pre-register from December 2nd to December 6th, in Mr. Mellander’s Office B-10 from December 2nd to 4th, or in the cafeteria from December 5th to 6th during all lunch periods! All are welcome to watch and play! All proceeds go to the senior trip!!
Are you a female student interested in science, math, or engineering? Then come to Cornell Society of Women Engineer's first mentorship meeting of the year on Monday Dec. 9th after school in H courtyard. The monthly mentorship program offers Cornell lab tours, engineering advice, machine shop training, and plenty more! 
Attention all freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors! Do you want to show that your grade is the best? Link Crew is hosting the annual canned food drive! Bring in as many non-perishable food items that you can and put them in the box of your grade in the cafeteria, H-Courtyard, the library or the main office. Be sure to put them in your grade’s box before the 19th so that your grade can win!
The Scifi and Fantasy Club is gonna rock your world. They meet today, afterschool, in H-Courtyard. There will be food. Be there or be square.
African-Latino Club meets today after school in D-5.
The Badminton Club meets after school today in the big gym.
