Day 2

Seniors. If you’d like a free, gently used cap and gown, please go to B-10 in Activities and fill out a form. These will be available on a first come, first serve basis, so don’t delay.

 

There will be a mandatory Model United Nations meeting today – this is mandatory, this is in York after school!!

Who's ready to dance under the dinos? On Saturday Feb. 8th, from 8-11 PM, the senior class will be hosting the annual winter formal at the Museum of the Earth. This is IHS' only all school dance and admission is open to all students. Tickets can be purchased in the cafeteria from Monday February 3rd to Friday February 7th during all lunch periods. Early bird tickets are $15 from February 3rd to 4th and regular tickets are $20! Free and reduced prices also apply! Hope to see you there!

Cabaret Night 2014 is just around the corner! Auditions will be held after school on Thursday, February 6 and Friday, February 7. Sign up for an audition time in the main office. See Ms. Hecht in the orchestra room for details!

Link Crew has a meeting today in York during 3rd period. Remember to wear your shirts!
 

Juniors, are you planning to take the SAT’s this spring? Would you like help preparing for them? The Let’s Get Ready Program application is now available. Please come to the College & Career Office for more information.

 

Want a dress but don’t want to go shopping? Come to the Green Team’s Dress Exchange this Friday in the Kulp lobby during all lunch periods! Boxes for dress donations are located in the library, cafeteria, H-Courtyard, main office, and Activities. No donations necessary and all dresses are free. Look great walking into Winter Formal!

All students interested in playing baseball this spring: there will be a meeting after school from 3:45 to 4:45, in Activities, this Friday. It is encouraged that you attend this meeting if you plan on playing in the spring.

 The SciFi and Fantasy Club meets after school today in H-courtyard. We have food!

 Zoology Club meets today in H-101 after school. Come and learn about animals and have fun with turtles, crayfish, and other fascinating creatures!

The African-Latino Club meets today, after school, in D-5. See you there.

Badminton Club meets in the big gym after school today.

 Poetry Club meets today in H-111 for yearbook pictures and sharing of work! Don’t be shy! Be there! All members are encouraged to be there! Remember! Red Rhymes! It ain’t your Momma’s Poetry.
