Hey everyone! Do you want to help out a local family in need this holiday season? Link Crew is hosting their annual food drive! Bring non- perishable canned and boxed goods to donation boxes in the main office, cafeteria, library, H-Courtyard, and some classrooms. The drive will run until winter break begins. Just think, if every student and staff member brings in just 2 cans we could have almost 3,000 cans to donate!

Attention Freshman students and staff! The yearbook needs photos of the class of 2019 in class, in gym, at lunch, at a game! Submit them to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com.

This Thursday Dec 17, the Science Department will host our first Conversations with a Scientist Talk in H-courtyard from 4:30 to 5:30. Come hear Mason Peck, Associate Professor in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell, discuss "Science Fiction to Science Fact," Professor Peck will discuss exciting trends in space technology and a way that you can get involved in a NASA project.  Snacks provided!

For any students applying to PRHYLI (pronounced:  pri-li), the postmark deadline is this Friday, December 18th.  Please see Ms. Bergman in the main office if you need any help.

The School Store is a great place to buy Christmas presents and this week everything is on sale.  Hoodies are only $20.00, long-sleeve t-shirts eight dollars, and short sleeve t-shirts only $6.00.  The School Store is open from 11:30am to 12:30 pm each day in the cafeteria.

This Wednesday, December 16th, the IHS Choirs will present their Winter Choral Concert at 7:30pm in Kulp Auditorium.  Students will perform in five languages and sing repertoire ranging from a Schubert Mass to a South African school song. Our closing song is described as “a lively, even raucous Eastern European Folk Song in Yiddish” – who’d want to miss that?!? Hope to see you there!

Hey Hey Hey Link Leaders we have a Link Crew meeting THURSDAY during FOURTH period. Food Drive, Tailgate, oh MY. Please be prompt. See you there.
