Day 5
10th grade students interested in
visiting the TST BOCES Career and Tech Center – Please see Ms. Sullivan in the
main office for your permission slips. The trip will be on Friday, February 19.
Come to
the Super Smash Bros tournament on January 22 from 4:30 to 8:45
in the
H courtyard. Compete for a cash prize in melee or smash 4. There´s a 5 dollar
entry fee, and concessions are included.
Hey Freshmen! Nervous
about midterms? Want to study with food and friends? Come to Link Crew's Cocoa
and Cram today in the cafeteria from 3:30-6:00 to get ready
for midterms with friends and hot chocolate! We hope to see you there!
Ever
wonder how someone develops Alzheimers or how you could study in real time the
processes inside a living, thinking brain? Come to our next Conversations
with a Scientist talk this today in H courtyard at 4:30-5:30 pm.
Biomedical Engineering researcher, Chris Schaffer from Cornell will be giving a
fascinating talk on how his lab has developed unique methods for imaging the
brain and developing models for normal and disease-state neural
processes. Learn about the intersection of biology physics and chemistry
in current research.
Everyone is
welcome. Snacks provided. Today - 4:30 in H courtyard.
Do you
sing, dance, or have another talent to share with the IHS community? Audition
for Cabaret Night! Auditions will be held after school on Wednesday, February 3rd
and Thursday, February 4th. Sign up for an audition time in the main
office. See Ms. Hecht in the orchestra room for more information!
