Day 1
Attention Seniors! Senior Prom is right around
the corner, and tickets go on sale today! Prom tickets will be on sale today, MONDAY, and TUESDAY ONLY during lunch periods in the cafeteria. Today's tickets will be $20, and prices will
go up to $25 on
Monday and Tuesday. There
will be no tickets sold after Tuesday 6th
period. If you receive free or reduced lunch, the price is $10. If you have
further financial restrictions, please see Mr. Mellander to work out something
that works for you. Everyone needs a dance contract, so if you haven’t been to
another dance already this year, pick one up today in the Main Office. And to
remind everyone, Senior Prom is for seniors and their guests only.
The School Store is having its usual end of the
year sale and all items are reduced! Hoodies are just $15. T-shirts
are $3 for short sleeved and $6 for long sleeved. The School Store is
open from 11:30
to 12:30 each day in the
cafeteria.
Come to the annual Herstory event to benefit
the Advocacy Center this Saturday at
7 in the cafeteria, hosted by SWIS! There will be food and performers, as a
celebration of unity and intersectionality!
The yearbooks are
coming, the yearbooks are coming! Attention I-High! The Yearbook will arrive
early next week, and be distributed to all those who pre-ordered, during lunch
periods in the cafeteria. IF YOU HAVE NOT PRE-ORDERED YOU CAN STILL RESERVE A
BOOK BY BRINGING A CHECK FOR $75 made out to IHS ANNUAL. There are a limited
number of books so if you want to be guaranteed one, reserve it ASAP.
Attention current IHS juniors! Applications for
National Honor Society are now available. The due date is June 8. Please see the
email from Mr. Mellander for information and to print the application. Don't
miss the deadline--June 8!
Freshman! Stressed about exams? Come to Cookies
and Cram after school on Thursday, June 8th from 3:45 to 6 to get
help from upper classmen, hang with friends and eat LOTS of free food. See you
there!
