Day 1
ATTENTION
SOPHOMORES: All 10th grade students interested in seeing
what TST BOCES has to offer, sign up for the BOCES Career and Tech field trip
on Friday, March 2nd. You will have an opportunity to visit two
career and tech classes and decide if one is right for you. See Ms. Sullivan in
the College and Career Office to pick up your permission slip. Forms must be returned
to Ms. Sullivan by February 14th.
All 10th graders who registered to take the PSAT10 in April,
your practice booklets have arrived. Please see Ms. Sullivan in the
College & Career Office to get your booklet.
Attention
Seniors: The 2018 senior award application is available with Mrs. Powers
in J15 and Mr. Noyes in G116. In order to be nominated for numerous
department and community awards, you must complete this application by the
deadline of March 2nd. Remember this is free money! Please see Mr. Noyes
if you have questions.
Seniors:
If you didn’t order your cap and gown from Jostens yesterday, they’ll be back
one more time today. They’ll be in H-Courtyard during lunch periods. Remember,
if you’d like a free, used, cap and gown there are forms outside the attendance
office to reserve one.
The American Math Competition is being held this Thursday during
periods 1 and 2. Students taking the AMC 10 should report to the
cafeteria and students taking the AMC 12 should report to York. Please
arrive before the start of first period and bring a pencil.
The 2018 Cabaret Night is now looking for talented students and
staff. Solo and group performances and talents of all types are welcome to
audition! Cabaret will take place on March 16th at 7pm in the cafeteria.
Auditions are March 1st and 2nd after
school. Sign-up in the main office or in A143.
Seniors: The Cayuga Medical Center Foundation Scholarship is
a merit-based award designed to provide financial support to graduating seniors
intending to continue their education in pursuit of a health center career.
Captain’s Council is hosting a leadership workshop led by a
student at Ithaca College this Wednesday at 3:45 to 4:45 in H-Courtyard. All
are welcome! There will be food.
