Write for the Tattler’s annual literary issue! The Tattler is accepting poetry, photography, short fiction and graphic art submissions. The best works in each category will receive prizes! Send submissions to editor@ihstattler.com by midnight TONIGHT to have your work featured in the issue.
Attention IHS students. You’re encouraged to attend the 2018 Equity Report Roll-out TODAY at 3:45 in the Cafeteria. The Equity Report Card monitors district progress towards achieving equity in twelve key areas of student achievement and engagement. This is an opportunity for you to be heard! Refreshments will be provided.
The student directed one acts are this weekend! Directors Sankofa McLaurin,  Lynne Walker, Leah Slattery, and Japser Fearon have put together a group of shows that you do not want to miss.  Performance are Friday 12/7 at 4:30 and 7:30 and Saturday 12/8 at 7:30 in the Black Box Theater.  A $5 donation is suggested, but pay what you can.  We want you there!

Do you want to make beats?  Make beats in the library!  here is a dedicated music production station in the library, including a keyboard, Mac computer and powerful Reason software that offers an array of tools for creating and editing music and audio. Stop by and try it for yourself! No experience necessary!
The PSAT-10 exam will be given to all interested sophomore students on Friday, March 1.  Students can register and pay for the exam with Mr. Barnes in the College and Career Office. Students with Free or Reduced Lunch may qualify for a fee waiver for the exam. The deadline to register Friday, Dec.14. If you expect to receive testing accommodations you must apply for these through College Board.

Ski Club Members, there is a mandatory meeting on December 13th at 3:35 pm in G116.  If you are interested in joining ski club please have your forms submitted by this meeting.  The buses are filling up, so please act accordingly.  Thank you.
Japanese Culture Club will be meeting today after school in room G209.  We will be discussing the culture, language, and history of Japan, watching movies and discussing Japanese media and customs!  Everyone is welcome. Please see Ms. Wilcox in G209 with any questions!
