A Day

Student Council will meet 2nd period today in York Lecture Hall. Please note the change to York just for this week!

The annual Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon is today from 10:00 till 2:00 pm in Activities.

Hey IHS! Guess what? We collected 32 units of blood at the blood drive yesterday! This wouldn't have done without your help and support! Apologies to those who wanted to donate, but were turned away. Try again in the fall! Rock those pop sockets!

Attention 9th, 10th, and 11th graders! Elections for student leadership positions are Friday during all lunch periods in the Cafeteria. Please make sure to check your email to read about all candidates before Friday, and don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard by voting!

Attention Biology Students:  Have you successfully completed the NY State Lab requirement so you can sit for the Regents exam?  If not, come to extra help in D-13 on Tuesday and H-104 on Thursday to work on late and incomplete labs before Friday's deadline.   Ask your Bio teacher for details.

Yearbooks will be sold during all lunch periods this week. After Friday, students will need to email Lyn Reitenbach to arrange a time to pick up their pre-ordered books or to purchase a book.

We are seeking members of our staff to create next year’s Yearbook. Want to learn more about how we create the IHS Annual? Come to library lab 1 Tuesday after school. Students will also be able to choose Yearbook basics as one of the sessions they can attend on June 17th.

SWIS’s annual HerStory event will be held Saturday June 9th at St. Paul’s Methodist Church from 3-6pm. This year’s theme is Women in Politics.

Want to give back to teachers and the school community? Donate today to IHS Student Council’s Supply Drive to help teachers get supplies for their classrooms. Drop supplies off in the box labeled in the main office or even ship supplies to the school online! See the email that was sent out for more details.
