Attention IHS!
Winter Formal tickets are on sale. Prices for today are $20 and $10 for
free/reduced lunch students. Everyone needs to sign a new dance contract
which can be picked up in the main office, in the cafeteria during all lunch
periods, or on the high school website.
Have you ever
been curious about what it’s like to build a robot? Have you ever wondered what
goes on in that mysterious E hallway from 5 to 9 every night? Come to the IHS
Technology and Engineering Department Open House hosted by Code Red Robotics on
Saturday, February 8th from 2:00 to 4:00 and you’ll be able to
experience a Code Red build session as well as explore the activities of other
technology affiliated groups!
Seniors: There will be a FAFSA workshop on Monday, February
10 at 6:30 in the library computer labs. Parents, guardians and seniors can
receive assistance by Financial Aid Officers from Cornell University and Ithaca
College in completing the FAFSA. Please sign up in the College and Career
Office.
It is senior night for the Boys Varsity Hockey team tonight
at 7:15 pm at the Rink in Lansing when they play McQuaid.
Cabaret Night audition update! If you missed the chance to
audition this week, there will be a make-up audition day next Thursday,
February 13, after school. Sign up for a time in the main office. See Ms. Hecht
in the Orchestra room for details!
Next Friday is Valentine’s Day! Key Club’s annual carnation
sale is starting today! Preorder for pickup is $1, preorder for delivery is $2.
Visit the carnation sale booth during lunch periods in the cafeteria!
The Cascadilla Boat Club is recruiting new rowers for the
spring season. No experience is necessary! Training will start after the
upcoming break. CBC coaches will be in the lunchroom today if you have
questions, or ask a current rower for more information.
Have any old jeans lying around your house? Donate any size,
any style, from any brand to the box in the main office and receive 25% off any
new pair of jeans from Aeropostale. Your jean donations will go to charities
and those who need them the most.
