Day 1
Today is a very special day in chemistry classes around the
country, because it is the day that we celebrate that famous chemistry concept
know as THE MOLE! A mole is an
ENORMOUS number, specifically equal to 6.02 x 1023, which is why it
is celebrated from 6:02 am until 6:02 pm on the 23rd day of the 10th
month of the year! To celebrate this SUPREMELY IMPORTANT CONCEPT, a dozen moles have been hidden around
the school today- if you find one, follow the
directions on it to claim your prize! Happy Mole Day!
School Photos and ID Cards can be picked up at
your AP's office. Names beginning with A-L can find them in G109A, and M-Z in
G104.
The following college reps will be visiting IHS
today: St. John Fisher at 9:00, LeMoyne College at 10:00, Clarkson University
at 10:45. Please see Ms. Sullivan in the
main office if you’d like a pass.
