Auditions for this year's musical Mary Poppins are coming up soon. If you are interested in auditioning, bring a parent or guardian to one of two informational meetings on either Monday November 2^nd or Wednesday November 4^th from 7:00-8:30 in the chorus room in “A” building. Check out the flyers around school for more details. We are always looking for new talent, so even if you've never been on stage before, come check it out!

 

 

Winter Sports begin soon!  Sports forms can be obtained on the wall outside the Nurses' Office and are due by Friday, November 6.  You must also have had a physical exam within the past year.  Check with the Health Office immediately if you are not sure you have had one.

 

This Friday after school outside of Bliss gym, Key club and SWIS club are hosting a bake sale for breast cancer research. See you there!

 

Voting is still open for the Fall Fractals & Chaos art show.  Members of the high school staff and class alumni can come to G102 for a ballot to vote on their favorite works of fractal art posted in the hallways.  Voting will close today and winners will be posted soon after.

 

HEYHEYHEY IHS submit your Halloween photos to the yearbook for a cash prize email them to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com.  All book worthy photos received before winter break will be entered into a contest, the top photographers will win cash prizes.

 

Fashion Club members: Today in room D-7 stop by super quick for our yearbook photo!

 

Hey everyone! IHS is hosting a change challenge November 2-6. Bring your coins and loose change for a competition between grades of who can raise the most money. All money will go towards the Elves Project to provide blankets for underprivileged kids this winter. Bring your coins to the cafeteria. Put silver coins in your grade and use pennies to sabotage other grades. The winning class will receive a prize.

 

Photo retakes will take place on Monday, November 2, from9:30 to 2:00 in Activities. If you did not get your picture take yet, please go on Monday!

 

A new club has started! Canada Club. Second meeting is today in G-108B after school! All are welcome!

 

Come to Eastern and Fun Club after school today in K-102.

 

Attention 9^th graders! Elections for your class officers will be during lunch periods on Thursday, November 5^th in the cafeteria. Come out and make your voice heard!
