Hey Ithaca HS, we want your videos. The yearbook can now embed videos in the yearbook. If you have a short video that you would like to have included please submit it to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com by April 15th! Make sure you get a yearbook so you can see the pictures come to life before your eyes!

 

Attention AP students: If you have not paid for your AP exams, please do so as soon as possible.

 

Attention seniors:  Senior Award applications are due March 25, CMC application is due April 11, and the Carole Buckley award application is due April 8.

 

Social Justice Week is March 21st-25th this year, with presentations Tuesday through Friday, 1st through 8th period on topics such as the environment, LGTBQ issues, and human rights. This is a student-run event, and the planning committee encourages their peers to attend presentations during their free periods. Be on the lookout for schedules in the halls and your classrooms. Teachers must sign-up via email to secure a spot at presentations for their classes.

 

Hey IHS! If you have a reusable water bottle, remember to bring it to school so we can reduce the number of plastic cups used each day! Or you can reuse a drink bottle. You may not have known that the plastic cups by the water jugs are recyclable. They are! So if you use a plastic cup, make sure to put it in a recycling bin when you’re done!

 

 

There will be an informational meeting for Ultimate Frisbee Club after school today in Activities. All are welcome and no experience necessary.

 

Past Fractals & Chaos students, it's not too late to vote for your favorite fractal designs in the Spring Fractal Art Show. Stop by Mr. Kirk's room (G102) for a ballot through Friday to cast your vote!

 

The Underground Poets will be performing Slam Poetry for IHS students and staff during 6th period on Friday in Kulp Auditorium. Please consider attending what promises to be a fantastic show! Contact Ms. Campbell with questions.
