Day 1

 

Attention Ski Club: There is a mandatory meeting today in G-116 right after school.  Be there!  This year ski club members are automatically entered in a chance to win a $50 gift card to Greek Peak.  For those of you interested, we need 20 more students to fill our second ski club bus and discard the wait-list. 

Hey, hey, hey, IHS! Do you want to learn to harness the inner energy of the earth? Then come to H-courtyard today after school. There will be an exciting talk from a representative of HeatSmart, a Geothermal expert, and plenty of snacks. See you there!

Announcing the first Annual yearbook photo and video contest. Submit your photos and videos to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com and you could win a free yearbook! Don't delay, do it today. Send in your photos and videos and even if you don't win a book you will be IN the book!

TV Production Club is cancelled today after school. 

 

Hey Seniors! Winter Formal is coming up soon, and we want your help to make it great! Come to G-209 after school today to contribute ideas.

 

The food drives ends Tuesday, so keep bringing in those cans! Drop off any non-perishable items in boxes in the cafeteria, H-courtyard, activities or the library. Help out our community this holiday season.

 

Come join us Tuesday in H courtyard for the first Conversations with a Scientist talk.  The speaker is Joshua Chappie from the department of molecular medicine at the Vet school at Cornell. The Chappie lab utilizes a combination of structural biology, biochemistry, and cell biology to dissect the mechanisms of complex molecular machines. The talk is Tuesday, Dec.  20 from 4:30-5:30 pm in H courtyard. There will be snacks.  Everyone is welcome.

 

Now is the perfect time to join Book Club! We are choosing our next read on Thursday, January 5th. Come to Mrs. Mellander’s room (G213) for books, banter, and bites! Snacks provided.
