Day 2

 

Announcing the first Annual yearbook photo and video contest. Submit your photos and videos to ithaca.yearbook@gmail.com and you could win a free yearbook! Don't delay, do it today. Send in your photos and videos and even if you don't win a book you will be IN the book!

The food drives ends today. Drop off any non-perishable items in boxes in the cafeteria, H-courtyard, activities or the library. Help out our community this holiday season.

 

Come join us today for a Conversation with a Scientist.  Joshua Chappie from the department of molecular medicine at the Vet school at Cornell will share his personal journey in scientific research and his experiences using x-ray crystallography and cryo--electon microscopy to answer fundamental questions in biology at the atomic level.  The talk is today,  from 4:30-5:30 pm in _____. There will be snacks.  Everyone is welcome.

 

Now is the perfect time to join Book Club! We are choosing our next read on Thursday, January 5th. Come to Mrs. Mellander’s room (G213) for books, banter, and bites! Snacks provided.

 

Support Student Council by paying one dollar to play the jelly-bean guessing game in the cafeteria during periods 1-3 on Wednesday and Thursday. The closest guesser will receive all the jelly beans and a hoodie or t-shirt.

 

 There will be a Student Council bake sale outside the gym today.

 

Ithaca High School apparel makes a great holiday gift!  This week the School Store is selling hoodies for just $20 and long-sleeve and short-sleeve shirts are on sale too!  The School Store is open from 11:30 to 12:30 in the cafeteria every day.

 

Picture re-take photos are in.  If you haven't received your school ID, or your parents ordered pictures, please see either Judy Fernandes in G-109A or Jay Barnes in G-104.  

 

The Sexuality and Gender Alliance meets today after school in G-201. There will be food.

 

Math Club meets after school today in H-211. Food will be provided.

 

Chem Club meets today after school in Mr. Slattery’s room, H-111.
