Today is picture re-take day from 9:30 – 2:00 in Activities.  Students please bring the pictures that you do not want.

 

Undivided meets after school today in K-102. There will be food!

 

The following college reps will be visiting IHS today:

Le Moyne College at 8:55

Wells College at 9:00

Skidmore College at 12:17

If you’d like to meet with any of these college reps, please see Ms. Sullivan in the College and Career Office.

 

Ski club forms for the 2017-2018 season are in G-116!  Scholarships are available and early registration has been moved to November 3rd, 2017. Please sign up asap!  All members are eligible to be in the drawing for a free $50 gift card to Greek Peak.

 

The first IHS Blood Drive is next Wednesday, November 1st!! Come sign up to donate in the cafeteria today through Tuesday. These donations will go to save the 4.5 million Americans that would die each year without lifesaving blood transfusions. You must be 16 with a signed parent consent form from the office, or 17 and up. All donors must weigh at least 110 Lbs. It only take 15 minutes to save a life!

The Sexuality and Gender Alliance will be meeting today after school in G-201. Everyone is welcome – there will be food.

 

Hey IHS. The senior class is hosting a 5k run November 5th in Stewart Park from 10-12. All proceeds go to the hurricane victims in Puerto Rico. All staff and students are welcome. Email Ms .Erikson if you are interested!

 

Hey IHS, Key club will be hosting IHS’s first blood drive of the year on November 1st! Some famous people who have donated blood this year include Marlee Matlin, Jackie Chen, LL Cool J, Eli Manning, and Peyton Manning. If they can do it so can you!!! Sign up

Did you enjoy Anything Goes last year? Do you want to get in on the action? Auditions for this year's musical, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, are coming up soon. Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score while embracing the darker themes put forth in the original romantic-gothic novel by Hugo. If you are interested in auditioning, bring a parent or guardian to the informational meeting on Wednesday November 8^th from 7:00-8:15 in the chorus room in “A” building. Check out the flyers around school for more details. We are always looking for new talent, so even if you've never been on stage before, come check it out!
