B Day

There will be a Student Council meeting today during 4th period in Activities.

If you are interested in playing on the Unified Sports basketball team, please check your ICSD email and complete the included Interest Form. This form needs to be completed by tomorrow. Please see Ms. Valletta if you have any questions.

Are you interested in virtual reality? Do you like games? Do you have no idea what virtual reality even is? Come to VR Day in the library this coming Friday during lunch periods.

The Game Drive has been extended until Wednesday April 3rd. Be sure to bring games to the library in order to be entered in to win a gift card!  

If you are IHS student planning to attend Prom, but who’s in need of a dress, there will be a Prom Dress Drive this Saturday, March 30th at Center Ithaca on the Commons. At the drive, you can pick up a dress at no cost at all! Check your ICSD email in the next few days for details.

Ithaca High School's annual Poetry Slam will take place on Tuesday, April 30th, in the Black Box Theater. A variety of prizes will be awarded. Check your e-mail or see Ms. Campbell for more information. Sign up online or in the High School Library!

Congratulations to the IHS Technology Student Association, on a great showing at the Connecticut State TSA Conference this past weekend! They traveled to Hartford CT on Saturday for a one day event, competing against other schools in a wide variety of technology themed events.  

Highlights include:

·  IHS Prepared Presentation 1st and 3rd place

·  IHS Video Game Design 1st and 3rd place

·  IHS Extemporaneous Speech 1st

·  IHS Problem Solving 2nd place, tied for 3rd place

·  IHS 3D CAD Engineering 2nd and 3rd place

·  IHS Dragster second place

·  IHS Board Game Design 3rd place

·  IHS Children's Stories 3rd place

·  IHS 2D CAD Modeling 3rd place
