Day 3

Muscular dystrophy is a disease that affects millions of Americans. This month, NHS will be holding a fund-raiser to benefit patients with muscular dystrophy every Wednesday and Friday of March in the cafeteria during lunch periods. Donate a dollar, write your name on a shamrock, and receive a free baked good or piece of candy as a thank-you! All proceeds go straight to charity.
Class of 2015 junior prom tickets are now on sale for only $15! They will be on sale this week only, so don’t miss out. You must have a completed dance contract to purchase a ticket, so if you didn’t fill one out for a prior dance, pick one up in the cafeteria or main office. Great music, passed hors d’oeuvres and a chocolate fondue fountain all will be featured at this event, which takes place on Saturday, March 29, from 8-11 p.m. at the Statler. See you there!

All students applying for the New Visions Programs next year must have their applications and materials in to their school counselors by Thursday, March 20th.  This is an absolute deadline.

46% of high school students in Tompkins County reported feeling that they had “easy access” to tobacco. March 19th – TOMORROW – is Kick Butts Day at GIAC from 4-5 p.m. KBD is a national day of activism that empowers youth to stand out, speak up, and seize control against Big Tobacco. How will you take action?

Math Team meets after school today with Mr. Deppe in H-211.
