Day 1

 

 Juniors, please see Ms. Sullivan in the Main Office to sign up for the PSAT. The test will be given on Wednesday, October 19 and is free for all juniors.

A college rep from Alfred University will be visiting IHS today at 11:30. Please see Ms. Sullivan in the Main Office for your pass.

Hey IHS! Do you want to get involved in the community and eat free food while doing it? Then come to Key Club, the community service club in H-206 on Tuesday, September 20^th. Hope to see you then!

Attention seniors. If you are interested in applying to join the National Honor Society, you can get an application from Ms. Sullivan in the main office. The forms are due no later than Monday (the 19th) so if you're interested in NHS, don't delay.

Auditions for the dramatic thriller Stage Fright are Monday, September 19 from 4 to 6 and Tuesday, September 20 from 6:30 to 8:30 in the Black Box Theatre. Be part of this thrilling production! Sign up on the drama bulletin board outside of the Black Box Theatre. See Mrs. Tino for information and questions.

IHS book club will have its first meeting of the year on Thursday, September 22nd in G213, Mrs. Mellander's room.  All are welcome!

Interested in being a part of the school news program? Well, the TV Production Club is right for you. Whether it is working behind the scenes in the control room or letting your voice be heard on camera, we have a spot for you! We plan to produce a bi-weekly episode of the show. So come to our first meeting this Monday in F-41 at 3:40 with Mr. Shyne for more information.

Want to help IHS stay green? Come join Green Team on Mondays after school in H-104. We have snacks and projects to keep our school environmentally friendly!

The first fashion club meeting will be Tuesday, Sept 20th after school in room D-7.

Want to get involved in social justices? Join the teen group in the community book read of the new Jim Crow. If interested come to the kickoff event at the Greenstar space on September 19th from 5:30-8:00 pm. 

Students going on the Morocco Trip will meet in H-Courtyard after school on Wednesday, September 21st. Please plan to be there!
