Day 4
Do you love volleyball? International
Club is hosting a volleyball tournament a week from Saturday,
April 28th from 1 - 4. The cost will be $25 per team and
prizes will be awarded. Sign up in the cafeteria during lunch periods
beginning today. Sign up a whole team or let us know if you'd like us to
find you one - 4 to 6 players per team.
Order your yearbook on-line at www.yearbookordercenter.com and
enter Ithaca High School’s code 8812. Less than 100 books left!
There
will be a Junior Prom committee meeting on Wednesday, April 25 in Activities
after school. If you want to have a say in the food options at Junior Prom,
come to the meeting!
Wednesday,
April 25, is Denim Day. This event started in the 90s
when the Italian Supreme Court dropped a sexual assault case because the victim
was wearing tight jeans. Show your support for victims of sexual assault and
wear denim on Wednesday!
The Class of 2019's Krispy Kreme donut sale is
coming to an end. If you are selling them, return forms and money to activities
after school on Monday. If you are still looking to buy donuts, find a class
officer or a junior who is selling.
Students, this is a reminder that SUNY
Brockport will have a representative here today at 10:00 in the College and Career
Office. All interested students, see Ms. Sullivan for a pass.
Students, an email has been sent to you about
facilitated lunch conversations on Race & Racism which will take place
during lunch periods in room F36 on April 26th, May 1st and May 3rd. The
email also included a link to a survey to express interest and provide you with
more information about a series of after school workshops that will be offered
in May. Email

The Latino
Civic Association of Tompkins County is pleased to announce the CECILIA MONTANER-VARGAS AWARD, an opportunity for a Latina/o graduating high school senior to
be awarded a scholarship totaling $800. The deadline for submission
is May 1.

The
Finger Lakes Runners Club scholarship is now available and offers two $1,000
scholarships to be awarded to two high school seniors who participated in their
school’s cross-country and/or track &field teams. See Mr. Noyes for more
information.
