Attention TV Production Club members, TV Production Club will not be meeting this week.



SIGN UP to participate in IHS's annual Poetry Slam! The Slam will be held Tuesday, April 24th, after school, in the Black Box Theater. Prepare ONE performance poem for this event. Tandem and/or Team Slams are permissible. A variety of prizes will be awarded!  YOU MUST SIGN UP by Friday, April 20th, if you plan to participate. Check your e-mail for sign-up information.



Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omicron Nu Omega Chapter will be offering an academic scholarship again this year to an African American or Latino graduating high school senior who is college bound in the fall.  If you are interested, please put a note with your name and the scholarship in Mrs. Powers' mailbox.  The application is a fillable pdf form so the application will be emailed to you. Print out the completed application and submit to Ms. Sessoms by Wednesday, April 18th



Students, are you are interested in running for an elected leadership position for NEXT school year? If so, please come to an elections information meeting after school on Wednesday, April 11 in G-103. This meeting is mandatory if you want your name on the ballot for our spring elections. Check your school email for details on open positions. 



The Latino Civic Association of Tompkins County is pleased to announce the CECILIA MONTANER-VARGAS AWARD, an opportunity for a Latina/o graduating high school senior to be awarded a scholarship totaling $800. The deadline for submission is May 1.  Please see Mrs. Powers for an award application.



The Finger Lakes Runners Club scholarship is now available and offers two $1,000 scholarships to be awarded to two high school seniors who participated in their school’s cross-country and/or track &field teams. See Mr. Noyes for more information.



Attention sophomore and junior Student-Athletes: If you are interested in participating in a new program, "Athletes as Leaders," this month please reach out to your sports captains, members of captain’s council or stop into the Athletic Department this week to find out more.
