Today is the LAST day for

Production Club will be holding a normal meeting today.
NACLO,
the North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad, is coming up soon.
Any secondary-school student who is interested in languages and likes
puzzles is encouraged to participate. This year's competition will be
held Thursday, January 24, from 9:45 to 1 PM at Cornell. There are info sessions at Cornell on Jan.
12th (11 AM) and here at IHS on Tuesday, Jan. 15th at 3:45 in room K 17.
Join us after school to meet with two linguistics professors from Cornell
who will go through some practice language puzzles and explain more about the
competition.
IHS Boxing Club is underway!
If you’re interested in signing up, meetings are on Mondays after school in the
Cafeteria starting NEXT Monday, the 14th.
Japanese
Culture Club will be meeting every Thursday after school in room G209. We
will be discussing the culture, language, and history of Japan, watching
Japanese movies and discussing Japanese media and customs! Everyone is
welcome, whether you have lived in Japan, visited or plan to visit Japan, or
just want to learn more about Japan! Please see Ms. Wilcox in G209 with any
questions!
