B Day

The Chromebook Club will be meeting today after school in the library. We will be exploring Library of Things. There will be refreshments.

Hey IHS! The haiku contest is back and accepting submissions for the December issue of the Tattler. If you want to submit a short haiku, which has 5-7-5 form, email literary@ihstattler.com. I can't wait to see your submissions.

Come support Unified Bowling, a mixed competition team for students with and without disabilities. Y.A.C., The Youth Activation Committee, raises awareness for and supports Unified Sports! We are looking for YAC students to cheer on our Unified Sports teams this year. YAC will also help build and choose this year’s Bowling Team. Our next meeting is today after school in H-Courtyard. Everyone is welcome!  Please join us and bring friends. If you cannot attend please email Linda Alzarif, Matthew Fellman, or Stephanie Valletta.

Are you interested in mathematics, economics, or computer science? Do you have theories about how the world works and want to test those using a model? Finance Club will be hosting Jason Meunzen, a former proprietary trader at KKR and Goldman Sachs, to speak about the field of quantitative finance. Quantitative finance combines economics, mathematics, and computer science to create models and recognize patterns that humans won't pick up on. If this sounds interesting to you, come to our meeting today after school.

Make sure to stop by Chipotle this Saturday, November 16th from 5 to 9 pm to support the Junior Class! 1/3 of the proceeds will go directly to us. Simply tell the cashier you are supporting the Class of 2021. We appreciate all of your help!

Attention staff and students, please join us in celebrating our college-bound student athletes on Wednesday, November 20th at 6 PM in the multi-purpose room. Congratulations to Georgia Haverlock, Abby Hagen, Andrew Alise, Casey Grange, Skylar Orlowski, Jamie Lasda, Haley Richardson, Zoe Getzin, and Zoe Congdon.
