Day 3

 

I have one question for you IHS. Do you like sushi? Of course you do. Well, the Asian American Club is inviting everyone to come join us to make awesome, delicious sushi FOR FREE in the cafeteria today, after school. See you all there!

Do you have suggestions to improve IHS’s environment? Is there an issue that you would like to discuss with other IHS stakeholders? Do you want to get your voice heard? You are invited to Ithaca High School Site Based Council’s first meeting of the year tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the IHS library! We meet approximately twice a month and we welcome people to come as often as they wish.

Seniors! If you receive free or reduced lunch and would like to order a discounted yearbook, come to B-10 in Activities and pick up a form before Friday, October 18. Again, this is only for seniors. 

Link Leaders, we have a meeting today during 6th period. Attendance is mandatory. We are in a new location--Kulp Auditorium. See you there!

The following college reps will be visiting IHS today: University of Connecticut at 9:00 a.m. and Brandeis University at 10:00 a.m. If you’d like to meet with either of these reps, please go to the College and Career office.

Come one come all to the first annual IHS Fall Fest on Saturday October 19th from 5pm to 8pm. It will be held in our very own quad and the rain date location will be determined. This is the homecoming fall festival where you can listen to student performers and the z95.5 radio station and participate in club-run fall activities! Tickets are sold at the event, $3 for just entrance and $10 for entrance and Chicken BBQ! Come out and represent! 

IHS Spirit Week is this week! Today is Twin Day, and tomorrow is Red and Gold Day! Remember to come to the cafeteria during lunch periods to be judged every day this week; students with best spirit each day will receive some great prize packages! Remember that you still need to follow our dress code.

The African-Latino Club meets today after school in Room D-5. See you there!

The Badminton Club meets after school today in the big gym.
