Day 5
The Tattler is having
its monthly writer’s meeting this Thursday in E-25 right after school. Everyone
is welcome.
I don’t know how to put
this, but I’m kind of a big deal. People know me. I’m very important. I have
many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany. Come see “Anchorman:
The Legend of Ron Burgundy” in H-Courtyard. Admission is $3 and there will be
free popcorn – this Friday at 6 p.m.
Anybody who is already
doing, or is interested in doing tech for the fall play “Rumors”, should come
to an informational meeting in the Black Box Thursday at 3:45.
Anyone interested in
joining WIHS, our school’s club for morning announcements, should come to B-3
before school any day. Members read morning announcements and play their
favorite, appropriate, music.
Attention all students
planning on performing at Fall Fest: there will be a mandatory informational
meeting after school on Thursday, October 3 in Activities for all musical acts.
At least one member from your act must be at this meeting in order to perform.
Are you interested in
skiing or snowboarding this year and want a FREE winter ski
jacket given to you by Greek Peak for being in ski club? If so,
IHS Ski Club is now offering discounted Greek Peak ski and board packages for
lift tickets, season passes, and rentals. See Mr. Noyes in G-116 for any
questions. The early rate has been extended to October 13th!
Have you
ever wanted to fly a plane? Design a website? Have a debate? If so, come to the
first Technology Student Association informational meeting this Thursday, after
school in Room E11 at 3:45. We compete in events like flight, digital video
production, computer aided design, fashion design, and everything in between!
See Mr. Sauve for more details!
Anyone interested in playing girl’s hockey this year
should meet today, after school, in Activities.
Do you like free popcorn, free pizza and free
drinks? I know you do! Are you interested in joining the African Latino Club? I
know you are! Come to the African Latino Club this Thursday in D-5 and watch
the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” and “Everybody Hates Chris” with us. You may just
end up wanting to join!
Attention freshmen! Are
you interested in being a class officer? Whether you're sure you want to run or
just thinking about it, come to a Class of 2017 leadership meeting on Thursday,
Oct. 10 after school in Activities. It will be a short meeting, but in order to
have your name on the election ballot, you MUST attend. If you are interested
but absolutely cannot attend, you must see Mr. Mellander in Activities before
Oct. 10.
The following college
reps will be visiting IHS today: Skidmore College at 2:00 p.m. and John Hopkins
University at 2:30 p.m. Stop at the College and Career office if you’re
interested in meeting with these reps.
