Do you like to play improv games and have fun? Well, Improve Club is where you want to be. We will also perform for the school. This club is every Thursday after school in H-217. All are welcome and there will be food. If you have any questions, see Mr. Pepe in Room H-217.

TIDDLYWINKS! Yes, IHS has a club for that, and an advisor who was once world champion (seriously!). Come see for yourself what a fun game this is. New members welcome! Our first meeting of this year will be today. We meet after school in room G-103. Be there or be nurdled.

Do you want to help make Ithaca a stronger community? Come to Key Club, the community action group. Next meeting is Thursday, October 2nd in Ms. Gefell’s room. There’ll be food!

Are you strong in hands on activities like designing and building C02 cars, architectural models, model airplanes, or even graphic technology?  Or maybe you have an interest in music production or public speaking?  Technology Student Association allows you to put these talents and so many more to the test against students from across the globe at the national conference.  The Technology Student Association will hold its first meeting on Thursday October 2nd, in room E-11 at 3:45.  See Mr. Sauve if you have any questions!!!

Attention Juniors: If you have not signed up to take the PSAT, please do so as soon as possible. You can pick up a review book when you sign up in the College and Career Office. The PSAT is required for all juniors and there is no fee.

Juniors and Seniors interested in attending the TC-3 College Fair on October 14 should pick up permission slips in the College and Career Office. The deadline for returning your permission slips is today.

Students, would you like to learn more about the Real Estate Industry? Students from the Cornell Real Estate Club will be here Tuesday, October 7th, during lunch periods to give an overview of commercial real estate and opportunities in the field. Sign-up in the College and Career Office.

Are you thinking about college? Wondering what you need to do when?  Do you have questions about which tests to take, how to ask for recommendations, or where to go for information about colleges? Are you wondering about how to apply early decision and/or early action? Come to the informative session on Tips for Applying to College, led by Student Services Department leader Stephen Jones October 7 from 6-7 p.m. in York Lecture Hall.  Mr. Jones will provide helpful information about applying to college and will answer your questions.  Refreshments will be provided by the IHS PTA.  Students and parents/guardians are all welcome - hope to see you there!

A college rep from the University of Chicago will be visiting IHS today at 9:00 a.m. If you’d like to visit with this rep, please go to the College and Career Office for a pass.
